On the 13th of June - my birthday! - it was such a pleasure to appear for the second time with Gabberdashery at one of Gabby Young and Other Animals' gigs. This time it was for the launch of their new album titled 'THE BAND CALLED OUT FOR MORE' and took place at Scala London. For anyone that has not seen Gabby Young and Other Animals perform live I would thoroughly recommend checking them out next time - they have a show at KOKO scheduled for the 17th of October 2012 and you can get your tickets here! They are really a lot of fun both musically and visually :-). Thanks to Gabby and her stylist Katie Antoniou for the invitation!
This was the Plastic Seconds stall... It was lush to have the beautiful stylist Lucy Harvey keeping me company. It was also great to see a couple of other talented, familiar faces such as illustrator Emma Block and singer/songwriter/uni old friend Lindsay West.
Kim from Bliss Bespoke Cakes was not only super kind to offer me a yuuuuuuumy cupcake as a birthday treat, but had also made this fab cake for Gabby Young's after-party - what a talented lady!
A little general view of the various Gabberdashery stalls which included designers such as Nancy Dee, Playsuit Parlour and Rosa Bloom.
I met Harri from the amazing Merrimaking team who was selling their fantastic animal hoods, sweatshirts and t-shirts next to me! - my bad photo NOT doing them any favor at all...
Another bad pic, but here is a bit from Alice Gabb's illustration stall...
...and here is pretty Akeela Bhattay posing on a silver moon for a vintage style photo by Frisking the Whiskers.
