On Sunday May 27th,
Plastic Seconds took part in the
Soho Flea Market on Dean Street in Soho. The event was organised by
City Showcase - and co curated by sustainable fashion and interior design boutique
Potassium London - in support of HIV and sexual health charity
Terrence Higgins Trust.
City Showcase has been supporting, identifying and developing up and coming musical talent since 2003, but this is the first year it extended its work to showcase artists, illustrators and designers. There was plenty of lovely design on show and you can check some of my favorites in
my listing for the event in Amelia's Magazine. Another lovely up-cycler/designer was
What Comes Around London and it was a pleasure to have illustrator
Alexandra Rolfe as my stall neighbor. The
Time Out printed issue from that week featured
Plastic Seconds as one of the stalls to look out for when visiting the market and also
blogged about it in their Now.Here.This blog! You can visit the
Plastic Seconds page on the City Showcase website here.
