It has been such a pleasure and honor to create a wall for
Supermarket Sarah - and also a pleasure to deal both with Sarah and her assistant Annette during the process - which is a website with a very fresh way of displaying and selling gorgeous objects and design.
Sarah Bagner started by selling on her website various designer items which she beautifully installed on a wall herself and now, though still doing her own walls from time to time, she invites designers to make a wall collage/installation from which the visitros of the website can directly pick and buy. It is a fun, different shopping experience and a great idea!
I discovered Supermarket Sarah roughly three years ago and instantly fell in love with it not only for the unique setup of the site, but also because of the opportunity it gave the designers to sell items that were extraordinary and often very clever and funny. Now Supermarket Sarah has opened a stand-alone concession at Selfridges where she hand picks a selection of items and you can find her on the ground floor at
Selfridges in Oxford Street. Below is the wall I made and - which you can visit by clicking
